I know there is an online wedding store that has so many great ideas for all kinds of wedding themes, and Valentines day is no exception. The best part is the prices they have for everything. There are even some discount accessories that can really help to stretch the dollars to fit your budget. They had everything for the perfect Valentines day ceremony and reception, from invitations to heart wedding favors. What better gift to give to your friends and family than a hearts wedding favor to commemorate your romantic wedding day? First I sent out invitations and then starting getting all my ceremony accessories and decorations. I decorated each pew with draped tulle and added hearts on the ends of the rows of pews. We had beautiful heart themed unity and taper candles with lots of bouquets of roses all around the altar. Our ceremony was really exquisite. We also planned to have doves released as we left the church for  reception.  

   The wedding apparel that would be worn by those who were going to be in the wedding had already been selected. I picked out a white satin basket that had bows and lace decorating it for our flower girl. There was a white double hearts wedding themed pillow with a pair of gold hearts on it that we got for our ring boy to use, along with a white ribbon made of satin for the rings. My flower girl was going to wear a small tiara, and it was very similar in appearance to the one I had picked out for myself. She did look like a little princess in her lovely little pink flower girl dress, and she did such a super job in the ceremony. With his tiny tuxedo and red boutonniere, the ring bearer boy did as good of a job and he looked just as adorable. When he walked, he didn’t get out of sync with everyone else, and he bore the rings in distinguished fashion. I was so proud of both of them.
  

   The centerpieces we had made up for the reception dinner had tiny hearts intermixed with roses that were white, pink, and red. On each of the reception tables were little two hearts wedding candles to set the romantic mood of the theme I had chosen, and at each setting was the nicest place card holders I could find. The wedding favors we got our guests should be a terrific souvenir from our wedding; they had handles in the shape of a heart attached to tiny silver bells. There were frosting hearts all around the bottom layer of our wedding cake, and each layer was decked out in pink and red roses all around. There was a porcelain wedding cake topper, colored white, that fit in with our hearts wedding cake and the rest of our cake adornments beautifully. 
  

   Everything at our wedding and reception was the perfect picture of a true valentines day wedding with all the hearts and flowers imaginable. Thank goodness for the world wide web, which certainly saved me a ton of time and hassle.

Everything that had anything to do with the wedding had a heart design, the invites and gifts and everything. The delightful heart weddings they sent out had a couple of silver hearts on the outside with the scheduling and contact information all printed so that it was right there when you opened it up. With the silver on them, they were rather striking. Even their unity candle for the ceremony had two little hearts hanging in front, and there were gorgeous candle holders for the unity candle and the tapered candles as well. The altar looked fabulous with all the lovely flower bouquets and the candle setting. The tulle was strung from pew to pew, with little hearts on the pews as well. The fact that they tied the knot on Valentine’s Day no doubt had something to do with the whole hearts idea. The bride was so beautiful that you couldn’t take your eyes off of her, and she was the center of an unforgettable ceremony.
At the reception there were hearts and flowers everywhere you looked. The silver hearts wedding theme carried over to the place cards holders at the reception tables, and they complimented the red and white rose centerpieces beautifully. The wine glasses and champagne glasses made the tables sparkle. The bride arranged the tables beautifully. The champagne flutes were long stemmed crystal and the wine glasses were personalized with the names of the bride and groom and the date of their wedding. The champagne glasses on bride and groom table were really something special. It was very much like the silver hearts wedding invitation they sent out; it was a silver double hearts wedding champagne glass for each of them.
The hearts wedding cake they had made had five layers and it was delicious. It looked as good as it tasted. Maybe the one place in the whole wedding where there wasn’t a heart was at the top of the cake, where they had a customized miniature replica of the bride and groom that looked exactly like them. The wedding cake topper was special, the only one of that type I’ve ever been exposed to. She said she bought it at a wedding website where she got all of her accessories and reception supplies. They apparently do customizing on wedding toppers, and all she had to do was send in photos of her and her fiance and they made the special cake topper couple. I’m sure they’ll treasure that forever.
In the end, we gave a hearts wedding cake to all of the guests. First there was a lovely votive candle holder and also coffee favors decorated in a groom package for the men and a bride package for the ladies, with little heart shaped coffee scoops. It struck me as a neat pair of gifts to give everyone. Come to think of it, their entire wedding day was filled with sharp ideas they had. I know hearts are the a perfect choice for a Valentines Day wedding, but I was impressed with all the gorgeous decorations and accessories she found for everything. I really thought the wedding cake topper was the most awesome of all. That’s a great idea for a birthday or any other happy celebration. She told me they have supplies and decorations for many events, and promised to show me where she shopped. They couldn’t have put it together any better, and all of the people who went had a smashing time there. I’m sure the bride and groom are having a great week in Mexico too. I can’t wait until they return and I can see all the pictures she took, listen to all the stories of the fabulous places they saw and things they did. The pictures she showed me on the brochures were fantastic.
