NEWMAC Singles Player of the Week:
Andrew Constant, SO, Springfield (Kingston, NY)
In a 1-1 week for Springfield, including a 9-0 victory over league-foe Clark, sophomore Andrew Constant went 2-0 for the Pride at No. 1 singles, winning both matches in straight sets. Last Tuesday, Constant, the reigning NEWMAC Rookie of the Year, defeated Connecticut College's Dave Kellogg, 6-4, 6-3. Then on Saturday versus Clark, Constant handled Adam Bisceglia, 6-2, 6-1.

NEWMAC Doubles Team of the Week:
Mark Egan, SR (Chapel Hill, N.C.) and Peden Nichols, SO (Great Falls, Va.), MIT
The No. 2 tandem of Mark Egan and Peden Nichols went undefeated in a 1-1 week for nationally-ranked No. 22 MIT. The duo recorded a 9-8 (5) decision against No. 16 Bowdoin College in a 5-3 loss on Friday. The next day, they outlasted their opponents from Babson, 9-8 (2), en route to a 9-0 team victory.
