NEWMAC Singles Player of the Week:
Eric Beren, JR, MIT (Dallas, Texas)
Eric Beren had a solid outing for MIT at the NEWMAC Championship Tournament this past weekend. In the No. 2 singles slot, he defeated his foe from Babson, 6-1, 6-1 in the semifinals. Beren then registered a 6-0, 6-3 win over his Wheaton opponent in the finals which powered the Engineers to their ninth consecutive NEWMAC title.

NEWMAC Doubles Team of the Week:
Tom Dohlman, SR (Wellesley, Mass.) and Eric Beren, JR (Dallas, Texas), MIT
Tom Dohlman and Eric Beren collaborated for a pair of wins in the NEWMAC Championship Tournament this past weekend as MIT captured its ninth consecutive conference crown. The No. 1 duo defeated Babson's top pair, 8-2, in the semifinals. Dohlman and Beren then posted the Engineers' lone doubles victory, an 8-4 decision, in the championship match against Wheaton.
