Cool jewelry boxes

Monday, May 11th, 2009

In my day, jewelry boxes were just a box that all the jewelry went in, but now, you can buy watch jewelry boxes, earring jewelry boxes and boxes that are specifically made for necklaces only. The boxes can be designed in a wide variety of ways. The women who stood up in my daughter’s wedding all got a jewelry box from her, and she picked one out for herself as well. In fact, she found even more than that when she went shopping online for all of her wedding accessories and reception supplies. All kinds of ideas are on there for weddings in a specific theme, or more standard, old-fashioned types of weddings. The décor my daughter and her groom went with had a fairy tale look and feel to it. She really did look like Cinderella at the ball in her lovely wedding gown and long veil, and I must admit my son in law looked just as good as Prince Charming in his stunning tux. It was a picturesque wedding. They left the wedding chapel in style, with a man in a tall white hat and long tails on his coat driving them away in a horse drawn carriage.
The reception had small white lights to add with the tulle that was draped above and tall flower vases scattered all about the room. Behind the bride and groom table was a floral arch of red and white roses and green foilage and there were beautiful flower bouquets on the reception tables with silver sparkles scattered about. The reception tables twinkled even more with the silver tea light dove place card holders she selected. All the lady guests received small jewelry boxes with sculpted flowers and little crystals to add to its beauty. The men were given little key chains with the well known frog prince as a charm. The wholesale jewelry boxes for the bridesmaids had black velvet-lined interiors and were made of wood and sliver-plated. My daughter and son in law had each of them engraved with the bride and grooms name and date of the wedding. The girls seemed to really like the thank you gift that my daughter picked out. It was a box like I used to have, I had no idea it was so affordable jewelry box, it was so expensive looking. The men each got a commemorative inscription in a small plaque and a set of wine related gifts. I thought that was pretty unique for a thank you gift.
The three-layered wedding cake they had was topped in debounair fashion with a small castle as the wedding cake topper. The cake knife set and champagne glasses meshed perfectly together with the cake. I couldn’t believe all the super accessories she got and it didn’t cost her anywhere near what I thought it would cost. They were firm about the fact that they did not want us to cover the bills from the wedding even though, as parents of the bride, we made it clear to them that we expected to pay for everything.
I felt the warm tears flow down my face as the two of them gracefully floated around the floor for their first dance. It truly looked like something out of a fairytale, just like the ball in the Cinderella story. We had a fantastic time at the reception and the garter toss was unbelievably funny, with all the guys pushing and shoving each other out of the way so they could be the one to catch Cinderellas garter. My baby girl’s fantasies were fulfilled on a glorious wedding day, with all of her close friends and family members to share it with. They are off on their honeymoon, and I’m certain that it will be every bit as fantastic as the wedding. When they return, I want a full description of all the wonderful places they visited while sight seeing.

Nice jewelry box online!

Picking out the accessories for my ceremony and the supplies for my reception wasn’t half as hard as trying to choose something nice for my bridesmaids. I had a really difficult time finding exactly what I wanted to get for them. I saw all kinds of possiblities for wedding favors for bridesmaids and wedding guests on the Internet. But the hard part was picking out which was the best to buy. There were also a lot of great deals on thank you gifts that I found at a discount. One particular eight-piece set I found saved me a lot of money; it had a pillow for the ring bearer, a basket for the flower girl, a pen and sign-in book for guests, and several other things, all in one. I saved a ton on that. Buying them together rather than individually saved me a pretty penny.
I knew my bridesmaids would be thrilled if I got them an elegant jewelry box, and I found just that while I was perusing through the thank you gifts. Really, there were multiple wedding jewelry boxes that were very fancy. The choices for what to get my bridesmaids were so many that I finally just went back to planning the rest of the wedding because my head was spinning. I had almost everything I needed for the ceremony, but there was a few more things I needed to pick out for my reception. The wedding favors for relatives and close acquaintances hadn’t been settled on, so I looked at doing that, and then there was also the matter of a wedding cake topper to look into. I opted for a bride and groom salt and pepper shaker set and a bottle opener made to look like doves that had a beautiful chrome finish. The package that the dove bottle openers came in was so pretty that I just used that and didn’t even get any special boxes. My fiance got his groomsmen a nice little stainless steel flask and a multi tool gadget that has just about everything from a pair of pliers to a bottle opener.
We got a cake topper of pair of newly weds locked in a loving embrace. I looked at several different styles, and almost bought the monogram cake topper with silver brushed initials and crystals, but I fell for the embracing couple instead. Now, I had everything but the gifts for my girls, so I had to make a final decision. They each got cheap jewelry boxes, and inside of it was some nice wedding jewelry. What I found for them was a shimmering rhinestone bracelet. It wasn’t over-the-top, even though it might seem that way. The volume of options in discount wedding jewelry was so great, and so good, that I got them some of that and saved a little cash in the process. In fact I bought my pearl wedding jewelry to go with my wedding gown there too. The quality of the jewelry is top-notch, and the prices are deeply discounted. The women in our wedding were elated with what I got them, and the men seemed pretty content with their thank you presents, too.
It turned out to be the best day of my life and we all had such a great time at the reception. My single sister caught the bouquet and my brother in law was the winner at the garter toss. Might something come of it? If they did get together and someday took the plunge, he would still be my brother in law, but my sister would also be my sister in law too. Only time will tell.
